Summer of Bomb Pop
THE ASK: Bomb Pop is the original, iconic, rocket shaped ice pop from summers past. But, nobody knew its name. We were asked to help make Bomb Pops relevant to Tweens and Teens as well as synonymous with summer.
THE SOLUTION: We created a phased plan throughout Summer 2023 to link Bomb Pop with three things that all Tweens and Teens could relate to:

PLAY.

EAT Bomb Pop
For National Bomb Pop Day, we created an experiential activation in New York City’s Chelsea Piers. We invited people to come and taste the pops as well as get a free piece of merch we designed in collaboration with The Summer I Turned Pretty’s Gavin Casaalegno.
WEAR Bomb Pop
We extended our activation from National Bomb Pop Day into a Wear Bomb Pop web shop. Only catch was, you could only access it via our SnapChat lens. And everything was free. We sold out every day within minutes.
